Job Title: Automotive Cashier

Job Summary:
Washington Honda is looking for a friendly, organized Automotive Cashier to join our team. The Automotive Cashier is responsible for processing payments, assisting customers at checkout, and supporting the service and parts departments with accurate transactions and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a professional and welcoming manner

• Process payments for service, parts, and other transactions (cash, credit, debit)

• Provide customers with receipts and explain charges when necessary

• Balance cash drawer and ensure accurate daily totals

• Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department when needed

• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area

• Assist service advisors and parts staff with administrative tasks

• Handle customer questions regarding invoices and payments

Qualifications:

• Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred

• Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
