Job Purpose:
Toyota is the industry leader and a great product to work on. The mechanical technician position is responsible for the actual service and / or repair of vehicles assigned to him by service management or their designated representative. We have a growing customer base and a very busy shop year round.
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in a professional manner; must be legally and technically able to safely operate Company and customer-owned vehicles; and must be insurable by Company insurance carrier. Working extended hours, evenings and weekends may be required to achieve goals.

MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING DUTIES WITHOUT RESTRICTS DURING A 12 HOURS DAY:
BENDING/STOOPING, KNEELING, PULLING/PUSHING, REACHING, STANDING, SITTING, WALKING, FINE MANIPULATION, OVERHEAD REACH, LIFTING AT LEAST 75LBS, AND CARRY AT LEAST 75LBS.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- ASE Certification preferred.
- PA Emissions and Inspection License preferred.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Proven development skills.
- Manual dexterity.
- General mechanical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communications.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Organization and follow-up skills.
- Computer skills.
- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
Conduct one self and dress properly in a manner that brings credibility to the dealership.
